# Free Trials

> Try a paid plan free for 7 days — once per account

## How Trials Work

## Starting a Trial

<Steps>

    Go to [ticketcord.net/dashboard](https://ticketcord.net/dashboard) and sign in with Discord
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a Plan">
    Navigate to Billing and select **Basic**, **Pro**, or **Enterprise**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start Trial">
    Click **Start Free Trial** and complete checkout
  </Step>

## What's Included

During your trial you get the features of your chosen plan, with one difference: **AI usage is capped at 1M tokens** for the trial period (instead of the plan's full monthly allocation).

### Basic Trial

* 3 custom bots
* Remove TicketCord branding
* Analytics dashboard
* 5 custom embeds
* 25 canned responses

### Pro Trial

* Everything in Basic, plus:
* AI-powered features with token allocation
* Atlas AI assistant
* Knowledge base (2 sources)
* Priority detection, duplicate detection, and more

### Enterprise Trial

* Everything in Pro, plus:
* 6 custom bots
* 15 knowledge base sources
* Webhooks (20 per guild)
* SLA management
* Business hours configuration

## During Your Trial

    Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade to a different trial plan at any time.

    Only if you add a payment method. Without payment info, your account automatically downgrades to Free when the trial ends.

  <Accordion title="How many AI tokens do I get during the trial?">
    Trials include up to 1M AI tokens, regardless of plan. The full monthly allocation (10M on Pro, 30M on Enterprise) starts with your paid subscription. If you hit the trial cap, AI features pause but everything else keeps working.

  <Accordion title="What happens to my data after the trial?">
    Your tickets, transcripts, and settings are preserved, and only access to paid features is restricted. Note that on the Free plan, closed-ticket content retention is up to 90 days for tickets going forward — see [Plans & Pricing](/billing/plans).

## Converting to Paid

    Select monthly or yearly billing (save 17% with yearly)

  <Step title="Confirm Subscription">
    Complete the checkout to start your paid subscription
  </Step>

## When Your Trial Ends

### If You've Added Payment

* Your subscription automatically starts
* You're charged for your first billing period
* All features continue uninterrupted

### If You Haven't Added Payment

* Account automatically downgrades to Free plan
* Paid features become inaccessible
* Your data is preserved
* You can subscribe later to regain access
